Product Description Cranium Family Fun gives families the best way to play together as a team in an unforgettably fun game that gives everyone a chance to shine. Packed with 16 hilarious activities, Cranium Family Fun gets you building, flipping, sketching, sculpting, guessing and laughing out loud together every time you play!
Editorial Review The original highly successful Cranium game is a great way for adults and older children to face off in entertaining challenges. Later games using a similar model were greatly simplified and geared more toward younger players. But with this new family model, everyone can play together. It still employs the same four basic Cranium categories: Creative Cat, Data Head, Star Performer, and Word Worm but within those groupings there are numerous new challenges for players of all ages. Like the traditional game, there is squishable clay for sculpture challenges but now there are also stacking cubes and a set of plastic frogs that players are occasionally called upon to flip. The game board is scaled back a bit, offering a short length of the game. We found the questions and pacing to be brisk and while younger players (age 8 and over, kids younger than that would be fine playing with an older teammate) would be able to have fun, it's one of those rare family games that adults can actually enjoy playing. --Charlie Williams

Cranium - the best board game December 26, 2008 Craniium is definitely one of the best board game there is. It is fun, involves a lot of different activity, and they have various booster packs so once you are done with the cards, you can get more different cards to keep playing. We enjoy this game tremendously.
Excellent family game December 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My entire extended family enjoys Cranium Family. The activities (drawing, sculpting, bouncing frogs) keep younger players involved, but the questions are challenging enough to keep adults entertained.
Family Funtime March 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My children received this game as a gift and love playing it. It is a different game each time they play it. My two younger children are challenged while participating, they are 5 and 6 yrs. old. It is rated for an older age group but we have been able to include them on a team for them to play along. It has a been an engaging educational toy more than I imagined. They all have fun acting out the requests on the cards and laughing along as they try to complete it in the time alotted. It is a funtime for the family.
Fun for the younger ones not so much for anyone else. January 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this game thinking that it was designed to entertain the whole family but I was mistaken. It's mainly for really young kids and isn't much fun for the adults or any teens. Questions are really simple and easy to figure out for anyone above the age of 10. Keep that in mind when thinking of purchasing this version of Cranium.
A great game for the right age October 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought Family Fun to take on vacation with us and I must say it was a blast. The variety of activities makes Family Fun a game everyone will enjoy. Well, almost everyone. We made the error in thinking our 4 year old would enjoy the game with the rest of us. After about 15 minutes we realized he was not in the mood to play this type of game. That was our fault. We had hoped he would be able to handle a game for 8 and above, but alas he wasn't.
That should not keep anyone from buying this game. Older kids will have fun and we even found little ways to keep the little one involved (by playing with the clay or other objects not being used.)
