Editorial Review Just like its big brother, Monopoly Jr. is big-time fun for everyone! Spend a day at the amusement park. Ride the roller coaster, bumper cars, or Ferris wheel. How about a game of miniature golf or a visit to the haunted house? It's simple--set up ticket booths on as many boardwalk amusements as possible, then build your fortune collecting the entrance fees as other players land on your properties. If someone else already owns an amusement, you pay up. Watch out--if one player owns both amusements of the same color, you must pay them double! So have some fun. And don't forget--pass GO, collect $2. --Alison Golder
Product Description Join Rich Uncle Pennybags for a day at the Boardwalk amusements. Set up ticket booths, then add, subtract and even multiply as you collect fees when other players land on your booths. Chance cards send you around the colorful carnival board: maybe you'll go to the fireworks - or pay $3 to take the tramway to the restroom! Sooner or later, somebody will run out of money and the game ends. Count up your cash: if you've got the most, you win this junior game that's big fun! For 2 to 4 players. Game includes: game board, deck of 24 chance cards, 48 ticket booths, play money, die and four car movers. Packaging art may vary.

A fun money game for youngsters January 6, 2009 I got this for my daughter for Christmas! She loves the original Monopoly I thought she would enjoy this version.(more geared to her age level) I was right, she LOVES it!! Its simple and easy to play, and it makes it fun for kids to play for long periods of time if they want to. Teaches beginning math and reading skills. I would Recommend to any parent who loves Monopoly!
Stinky Monopoly Jr. November 25, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a toy we have wanted for a very long time. Last Christmas we finally got it. Then, we played it for the first time. We noticed the board was small, no jail, very little money. When you bought the land it is much cheaper than regular monopoly. What happened to free parking? Do yourself a favor and purchase regular monopoly. You' ll be sorry if you buy the j.r. edition
our 5 year old grandson loves it! October 6, 2008 this is a fun game to play with our 5 year old grandson. He really enjoys it and it's also helpful in teaching him math and reading.
Fun family game! September 22, 2008 I got this game as a fun family activity that helps teach my twin kindergartners about counting and a little math. It was very easy for them to learn and is fun for everyone to play. My husband has never played Monopoly; so this was a nice introduction for him too.
Good Game August 16, 2008 Purchased for my daughter's 6th birthday. She really likes to play this game and it helps her work with small numbers. However, I wish that the dollar amounts were larger (it only has 1-5 denominations), because having her work with the bigger numbers would help her math skills. I love the speed of the game though, as it holds her attention. The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 is because I don't feel like it pushes math skills as much as it could.
