I love maps, geography, etc...I LOVE this game! December 23, 2008 Easy to learn the rules, very good questions...not too easy, not too hard...excellent game IMO!
Fun while learning December 23, 2008 The game arrived very quickly in perfect condition. We actually bought this one as a gift because we already owned the game and had some friends that we knew would love it. They enjoy playing games and the extended family includes a home-schooled teen all the way up through grandparents who are experienced world travelers, so this was a perfect gift for them. We have played they game in different fashions on several occasion (the game design allows a lot of flexibility in how you play it) and have been impressed that each time we play it learn new things. The ability to play competitively with people with very different levels of knowledge helps keep it enjoyable for everyone, and each time I walk away with a better knowledge of greography and trivia. As Mark Twain famously said, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness". This game helps foster the desire to travel and learn more
Good Challenging Fun! December 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is challenging and fun. It is helpful in getting a better understanding of where countries are. The questions are a good mix of sports, culture and geography. Don't be stumped when the next obscure country pops up in the news! Get this game, have fun with your family AND be ready for current events.
Do You Know Where You Are? Review December 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"Do You Know Where You Are?" is a great family game that is both fun and educational. Even though members of my family are at different knowledge levels when it comes to world geography, the ability to select an appropriate level of play for each person kept everyone competitive and having fun. We played as individuals but we plan to play very soon again but with teams, which the game easily accommodates. The questions gave jsut the correct amount of clues along with the coordinates to keep it challenging but not too difficult to enjoy the game. I highly recommend this game for anyone or any family that enjoys combining education with lots of fun. It is very important today to understand our world a bit better and this is a great way to accomplish that.
