The cake and frosting tasted so bad that both my daughters, both who love sweets, spit the cake out and walked away.
A Big Mess and A Big Waste!! January 4, 2009
This is one of the worst toys ever!!! Ditto EVERYTHING in the other reviews! $25 to make 4 disgusting exploded cupcakes? The frosting dispenser threw the cupcakes off and when put back on the frosting glops on in a gross way..NOTHING like on the commercial, I didn't even attempt to clean up the dispenser or the other pieces, they went straight in the trash, (A refill to make 3 more messy gross cupcakes is over $5.00!) Do yourself a favor and skip this item and if you haven't opened it return it while you have a chance!
Absolutely terrible! January 2, 2009
This item is so bad I was compelled to write my very first review to save someone from a disasterous purchase. I'm with the first reviewer - I made it disappear the very next day! It looks cute but doesn't work for anything. The cake mix/icing tastes disgusting; it's horrible to clean and doesn't dispense icing like it shows on the box. It makes a horrible mess. I also tried canned icing and that was only slightly better. Also, you can only make one cupcake at a time, so forget about your child doing this with a friend. Takes way too much time to clean up all the pieces to set it up and start all over again...and guess how fast you'll have to run out and buy more cake/icing mixes?

I was more pleased the day I lost ten bucks out of my back pocket. Won't bother to even clean this up The whole thing will be in the trash as soon as the kids go to bed.
