1 out of 5 stars Terrible multiplayer   January 8, 2009
The campaign mode is pretty good however in online multiplayer which is what I like to play there are so many glitches in the game that it is not even enjoyable due to the fact that players can go under some of the game maps to kill you and you can't kill them. It needs to have a lot of glitches fixed and updates installed. All in all I wish I had my money back.

5 out of 5 stars Great game!   January 6, 2009
I got Playstation 3 about a month and a half ago. I don't really have too much time to play it but this game has been awesome! The history is accurate, the scenes and action in the game are extremely realistic. I think I've almost beaten it but more and more levels keep coming. A must have for people into historical games!

5 out of 5 stars Not really recycled   January 5, 2009
I really did not want any part of this, I thought it was going to be a really poorly recycled game, however it's actually a lot of fun. The levels are completely redone and the the online play is a lot of fun. This new game also has trophies (yay!) and voice-overs done by whatshisface from 24. His voice gets a little annoying after a while. I don't think that guys should be yelling so much.

2 out of 5 stars Single Player Much Too Short   January 5, 2009
2 out of 3 found this review helpful

This game has stunning graphics and fun gameplay. Unfortunately, the single player mode is far far too short. I have very little free time to play video games, and I beat this thing within 2 weeks. Normally it takes me months to finish a game. There should have been many many more missions. I don't know the exact number of missions, but it should have been about 10 times that many. To put it in perspective: Lego Star Wars 2 is a more difficult game to beat than this.

I also thought the combination of Pacific Theater (US) and European Theater (Russian) was goofy. I would have much rather played entirely in one or the other theaters.

The missions are also too linear: follow your guys, blow stuff up, kill, and follow your guys again. There should have been more ability to do some free form exploring, and different possibilities for the flow of each mission. Multiple endings to each mission would have been nice.
