wii fitness bundle January 7, 2009 the product did not include what I thought was in it - the Wii board
Wii Fitness Bundle January 6, 2009 The Wii Balance Board cover and battery charger are the value part of the fitness pack. Not sure why they felt the need to throw in ONE pair of socks; either they don't expect you to change your socks, or they just don't expect you to exercise very often. Maybe there is some sort of quota that says you have to include so many items before you can call it a bundle! Anyway, the two prime items alone are worth the cost. P.S. I'm not sure which part of the bundle that I was supposed to evaluate for "fun" quotient. Maybe it was the socks!
Good Product January 6, 2009 We found the bundle to be useful. We've used all of the components included and all have worked well. The only complaint that I would have is that the original description stated that 3 pairs of socks would be included, while there is only 1 in the box.
Worth the price January 6, 2009 I love my Wii and Wii fitness. I thought this would be a good thing to have and also to protect my Wii fitness. I description says there should be two pairs of socks but on the box it says just one. For me it's hard to justify to fight for just a pair of socks. Other than this, I love this bundle pack and I think it's a great deal.
Not impressed January 3, 2009 We were not impressed with this Wii 5-in1 fitness bundle. Let me say first that we charged the battery pack before we used it, and yes we waited for the light to change to know it had a full charge....
If you are using your Wii Fit with just the regular "feet" on the board the battery pack does NOT fit under the board, I kept getting a message from the game that my weight had changed and would I like to continue anyway. I played for a while and then decided to go back and check my weight to see what the issue was, seems I had lost 22lbs in one day! So I put on the foot extensions that are for carpet(they come with the Wii Fit NOT this bundle) and gave it another try. Dang I gained back that 22lbs,sigh. But as soon as I got started on another game the battery died! We had been using the Fit board for a week on the same regular batteries and hadn't had to replace them and yet the pack couldn't make it through ONE use, less than half an hour!
The mat is fine, but I'm sure we could pick one up cheaper.
Didn't try the socks.
I prefer the board without the cover. The cover just feels weird to me, just my preference.
The zipper on the bag busted open the first time I tried it out, I got it to close but don't think it would hold out for long. As mentioned in another review, it doesn't do much to protect the board. I would have liked to see a little cushioning and maybe a pocket or two for socks, charger, leg extensions, game etc.
I'm in the process of returning ours.
